Every boy is given the opportunity to perform on stage at Cothill, and it is an experience which they relish with great gusto! There are normally two plays each year in the spring term, one by the juniors (5s and 6s) and one by the seniors (Rs and Ms). The boys learn to juggle the workload of their studies alongside a large number of rehearsals, but they always seem to triumph on the day and enjoy themselves wholeheartedly along the way.
Recent productions have included ‘Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat’, ‘The Jungle Book’, 'Tom & Huck', 'Oliver', 'Treasure Island', ‘Bugsy Malone’, the World War 1 drama ‘Journey’s End’ and Oscar Wilde’s comic farce ‘The Importance of Being Ernest’. Video clips of many of the productions can be seen here.
