Main School Building
The main house is where the Headmaster and his family live along with the majority of the boys. It also houses the school offices,
changing rooms, a heated indoor swimming pool, an assembly room complete with stage, a large games and sitting room,
the main dormitories, matrons' office and the dining hall & kitchens.
Complex
The complex is the main teaching block. Downstairs there are classrooms and form rooms. Boys move around the complex for lessons with subject specialists. The courtyard at the rear makes an ideal spot for impromptu cricket and football!
Upstairs is a brand new library housing 10,000 volumes and a state of the art computer room.
Pike building
The Pike building contains three modern science laboratories and a well stocked prep. room.
Music Department
Cothill has a flourishing music department and this partly must be due to the superb facilities. There are sixteen
music practice rooms, most equipped with pianos and a large music teaching room with enough electronic keyboards for each boy to use one during lessons.
There is also a stand-alone drum practice room to prevent disturbances.
Art & Craft Department
The arts are also very popular at Cothill. There is an art room, a ceramics studio, a woodwork workshop and a design centre.
Bungalow
To give second year boys a sense of independence and responsibility, they all board in a small bungalow in the school grounds.
Chandlings

In their last year, boys board at Chandlings Manor, a magnificent country house complete with its own extensive grounds and golf course. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a sports hall. It is good preparation for
life ahead at senior school and the boys appreciate the opportunity to have their own space and additional responsibilities for themselves and each other.
